Chitralahari - Nani's Loss Or Gain?

Director Kishore Tirumala wrote Chitralahari keeping Nani in mind. Mythri Movie Makers was in search of a script for a film with Nani and Nenu Sailaja director came up with Chitralahari script.

Nani asked for some changes in the script and later rejected the script as it didn't turn out as expected.

Then Kishore Tirumala met Sai Dharam Tej and got his approval in no time. Chitralahari that was released on last Friday has been performing decently at the box office.

The film was deliberately sold for less prices given Tej's recent track record. Thanks to the low prices, Chitralahari is all set to become a safe venture for its investors.

Did Nani miss out on a hit film? Nani's current market is above Rs. 30 crore mark, which would have been a difficult target for a mediocre script like Chitralahari.

Making it on a limited budget and selling it for low rates turned out to be a boon for its makers. So this is not Nani's loss but Sai Tej's gain!
