Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy paused his Memantha Siddham bus yatra on Monday to engage in discussions with senior party leaders regarding the party's election strategies and manifesto.
The CM spent the day at his campsite in Madhurawada, refining the election manifesto slated for release on either April 26 or April 27. He is scheduled to file his nominations in Kadapa on April 25.
In attendance were Education Minister Botsa Satyanarayana and Regional Coordinator Y.V. Subba Reddy, while other senior leaders contributed online.
The Chief Minister aims to augment the manifesto with additional welfare schemes targeting marginalized segments of society.
One potential promise is the provision of subsidized cooking gas cylinders along with further enhancements to health services.
In the previous elections, the manifesto featured Navaratnas, nearly all of which were successfully implemented by the YSRC government over the past five years.
Additionally, several promises made by Jagan Mohan Reddy during his tenure as CM were also fulfilled.
"The manifesto will address the fundamental needs of the people," stated Regional Coordinator and Rajya Sabha member Y.V. Subba Reddy, emphasizing that the YSRC would campaign based on its track record of service and welfare schemes.
Following the Memantha Siddham bus yatra, the final campaigning will be concentrated in North Andhra, where the CM is slated to address public meetings in 15 Assembly constituencies in the concluding phase of the campaign.
On Tuesday, the Chief Minister will resume his bus yatra from the Cricket Stadium at Madhurawada, proceeding to Anandapuram junction for a meeting with social media influencers.
He will then continue to Jonnada in Vizianagaram district, passing through Tagarapuvalasa, and conclude the day with a public meeting at Chelluru village, en route to Akkivalasa for the night.
