Glass Symbol: Big Shock For Jana Sena

The Central Election Commission hit a major blow not only to TDP and BJP but also to Jana Sena.

The decision to allocate the free symbol 'Glass' to independent candidates where Janasena is not contesting has caused a stir within the alliance.

The deadline for withdrawal of nominations has passed today, clarifying the candidates in the competition.

In this scenario, there is no issue with the symbols of the recognized political parties.

All registered and independent candidates eyed on the 'glass' symbol displayed as a free symbol on the ballot.

In Vijayanagaram, TDP rebel candidate Meesala Geetha, Jana Sena rebel candidate Pathamshetty Suryachandra in Jaggampet, and an independent candidate in Madanapalle also received the 'glass' symbol.

Alliance leaders are expressing their frustration over these outcomes.

Despite repeated requests from TDP, Jana Sena, and BJP leaders to the state and central election officials to reserve the glass symbol exclusively for Jana Sena within the coalition, it was heard that the central election officials instructed to allocate 'glass' symbol to only Jana Sena and none else.

However, the election commission gave a shock. The allocation of the glass symbol to others has sparked outrage within Jana Sena.

Alliance leaders protested that their requests to election officials were ignored.
