Devara's Midnight Shows only in Single Screens

The makers of Devara have not yet finalized special show timings for the Nizam region.

Although there are widespread reports that the shows will begin at midnight with tickets priced at Rs 1000, no official confirmation has been provided.

For the first time, the distributor is seeking official government permission to sell tickets for these special shows at Rs 1000.

They are attempting to persuade the government to issue a GO (Government Order) for this. However, there is a small complication. Readmore!

If the government issues a GO, multiplexes will take half of the ticket price, as is standard practice. This setup benefits multiplexes more than it does the distributor.

Therefore, they are considering limiting the special shows to single-screen theaters, where the distributor stands to gain more.

Meanwhile, the police have yet to approve midnight shows. There are rumors that some distributors and exhibitors have requested the producers to schedule 4 AM shows instead.

The concern is that if the film receives negative reviews from midnight audiences, it could hurt first-day collections.
