The Mana American Telugu Association (MATA) orchestrated a spectacular Bathukamma and Dasara celebration that left a resounding mark in the hearts of over 3000 attendees hailing from both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The event took place at the prestigious Royal Albert's Palace in New Jersey.

The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the majestic 23-foot Bathukamma, meticulously crafted and showcased by the MATA team in grand style. The celebration also featured captivating cultural performances by local dance schools, adding an extra layer of vibrancy to the festivities.

The proceedings commenced with a warm welcome from MATA Founder & President Srinivas Ganagoni, who extended his greetings to the Telugu community. He invited all the Telugu origin people to Bathukamma & Dasara Celebrations.

The talented Bahubali fame singer Satya Yamini delighted the audience with her melodious renditions of Bathukamma songs, captivating all with her soulful voice and engaging performance.

The event was supported and sponsored by various MATA leadership including Jithender Reddy, Pradeep Samala, Praveen Guduru, Kiran Duddagi, Vijay Bhaskar Kalal, Sreedhar Gudala, Swathi Atluri, Dr. Stanley Reddy, Pavan Darsi, Jaideep Reddy, Damu Gedala, Venkatesh Mutyala, Shireesha Gundapuneni, Ram Mohan Chinnala, Prasad Vavilala, and Krishnasri Gandham.

First time MATA introduced Bathukamma Drawing Completions to various Age groups to show case their talent and the response was huge, the best drawings in each age category was awarded with a great prize. The Drawing Competitions are organized by Venu Giri who is also the architect in preparing the BIG Bathukamma.

In addition, MATA also displayed Bommala Koluvu FIRST time to showcase Andhra Pradesh culture during Bathukamma celebrations headed by Raghuram Renduchintala and Ranga Madisetty.

The fashion was organized by Deepti Nag and anchored the event. The best dressed ladies were awarded with surprise gifts.

The planning and execution of the event was spearheaded by the dedicated MATA Core Team, which includes Narender Reddy Erranguru, Poorna Bedhapudi, Sireesha Gundapuneni, Krishna Siddhada, Girija Madasi, Deepak Katta, Rakesh Kasturi, Chaitu Madduri, Preethi M, Srikanth Gajula, Lakshmikanth Gajula, Ravi Karingula,Jalaja, Rakesh Kasturi, Ravi Kamarasu, Lavanya Todupunur, Nitha, and Gopi Vutkuri.

The tireless efforts of the Bathukamma preparation committee, comprised of Manjula Ganagoni, Padmini Duddagi, Kalyani Bellamkonda, Syamala Kajana, Madhuri Jalli, Arundati Shakeli, Anusha Gajula are instrumental in creating real flower Bathukamma’s and help preparing the Biggest Bathukamma and ensuring smooth logistics.

The MATA youth including Sameera, Anvitha along with other singers sang many folk songs and entertained the crowd.

The organizing team selected Top 6 best Bathukamma’s those are present in the celebrations and awarded with a great gifts sponsored by various local Jewellers.

The venue was abuzz with vendors, both inside and outside the hall, while the Telugu community's enthusiastic presence was palpable, leaving little room to spare inside the hall.

The feedback received from attendees was overwhelmingly positive, with many commending the flawless execution of the event. The outpouring of support from all corners of the community, along with the impressive turnout of over 3000 participants, made this celebration a resounding success.
