After the success of Dasara, Nani is now working on another project with the same banner and producer. This upcoming film is also set in the Telangana backdrop with a rooted storyline, and casting for the movie has recently begun.
For the female lead, the makers are looking for a well-known, talented actress or possibly a fresh face. Currently, Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor who scored blockbuster with 'Stree 2' is their top choice.
Nani has been aiming for the pan-India market, but breaking into the Hindi market has been a challenge. His previous attempt with "Saripodha Sanivaram" didn’t meet expectations in the North, though the film did relatively well in the Tamil and Malayalam markets.
This time, the team believes that casting Shraddha Kapoor, much like how Mrunal Thakur was cast in "Hi Nanna", could help boost the film’s appeal, particularly in the non-theatrical market. However, her dates and remuneration are still being discussed.
On the music front, the team is considering Anirudh Ravichander as the composer, but his availability is a concern.
Anirudh worked with Nani for 'Gang Leader' before, and there are ongoing discussions about whether they should wait for his commitment or go with Devi Sri Prasad instead.
