The countdown for Pushpa 2 has begun, with the release date just 20 days away. However, the last five days are not included in this countdown, as they are reserved for tasks like loading and shipping content overseas.
This means only 15 days remain. Despite the tight schedule, reports indicate that three units are still shooting around the clock. Meanwhile, re-recording for the locked portion of the film’s first half is ongoing.
The trailer release date has already been set, and arrangements are underway for star Allu Arjun to promote the film in key cities across the country. This isn’t a major concern, as the film already has substantial buzz. Just the news of its upcoming release has generated significant excitement.
However, due to Allu Arjun’s personal image and the film’s Pan-India appeal, he is expected to travel to multiple cities for promotions.
Once again, director Sukumar is anticipated to stay out of the film’s promotional activities. Several critical tasks remain, including finalizing the film’s cut, reviewing re-recorded segments, redoing any scenes as needed, making final edits, and mixing and dubbing in all languages.
All these tasks must be completed swiftly, which makes it unlikely that Sukumar will participate in pre-release promotions.
The producers also have the added responsibility of managing the entire Rs 600 crore theatrical market, including payments and settlements, making it challenging for them to focus on promotional activities.
Allu Arjun’s promotional tour is set to begin in Patna on the 17th, so all of his film-related work must be completed by then. Afterward, he will dedicate the next two weeks solely to promoting the film.
The atmosphere is filled with tension, with every moment being crucial.
