Advocate Bala, who gained fame as RGV's lawyer in his latest legal case, has been giving interviews to various media channels.
He has been demonstrating his command over law, explaining the sections and provisions that protect citizens when summoned by the police.
In a detailed interview about RGV's case, the anchor asked him about Pawan Kalyan's recent actions at the Kakinada port, where he ordered the seizure of a ship.
To this, Bala responded, "I think he doesn’t know the basics of governance, the basics of law, or the basics of the power distribution system. A seaport comes under the jurisdiction of the central government and customs.
"A state minister has no authority to issue directions to them. If he feels there is some discrepancy, he should write a letter to the concerned authorities first. Did he do that? The Deputy CM doesn’t have any extraordinary powers granted by God.
"As a Deputy Chief Minister, he lacks the authority to direct officials to do this or that. He is misleading the public, treating the matter like a movie scene. People should be aware of this."
We’ll have to wait and see how Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan and his team respond to these remarks.
