Strip dances at Jana Sena leader's birthday fete?

Jana Sena Party headed by deputy chief minister Pawan Kalyan on Thursday expelled a party leader after certain videos of some women being forced to perform nude dances at his birthday party in his village went viral on social media.

The incident reportedly happened on the night of December 15, when Vakmudi Indra Kumar, president of the Jana Sena Party in Krovvidi village, celebrated his birthday with an extravagant event that included obscene dances and excessive alcohol consumption.

The celebrations, held at a rice mill in Bavayapalem, began as a local gathering with food and cake-cutting involving mandal-level leaders.

However, as the evening progressed, the situation escalated when a group of men, intoxicated by alcohol, invited women from a nearby town to perform dances.

Videos of the incident went viral on social media, sparking outrage. Police acted swiftly, registering a suo motu case and launching an investigation.

Following the incident, the Jana Sena Party suspended Indra Kumar from both his position and primary membership, with party officials citing his involvement in anti-social activities as the reason for disciplinary action.

The case is under investigation, with local authorities and police gathering further evidence.
