Pushpa 2: The Rule has made history by becoming the all-time number one Hindi film in India.
The box office juggernaut smashed multiple records, crossing the â¹1800 crore mark worldwide.
While the film has concluded its theatrical run in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, Pushpa 2 continues to attract audiences in the Hindi market. Meanwhile, OTT platforms are gearing up for its streaming debut.
Netflix acquired the film's OTT rights for a record-breaking â¹250 crore.
To recoup this substantial investment, the platform is expected to stream the film soon, with reports suggesting a premiere towards the end of this month.
The production house previously announced that Pushpa 2 would not stream on Netflix until 56 days after its theatrical release. By the end of January, this clause will expire, allowing for its OTT release.
Starring Allu Arjun in the lead role and directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2 was released in five languages. The makers also have plans to expand its reach by releasing the film in Japan and China.
