The Telangana government initially issued special permissions for Game Changer, including higher ticket rates.
However, the Revanth Reddy government has now withdrawn the earlier G.O and issued a revised order, reverting to standard ticket rates for the film.
This change will partially impact Game Changer, as the revised GO takes effect on the 16th, allowing the film to benefit from increased ticket prices in the Nizam region for its first six days. From the seventh day onward, the film must follow regular pricing.
On Friday, the Telangana High Court issued an interim order to review the Revanth Reddy government’s decision to increase ticket rates.
Following this, the government withdrew its earlier GO and announced that no early morning or benefit shows will be allowed for any film in Telangana going forward.
The Andhra Pradesh government has also taken a similar stance, canceling permissions for midnight and 4 a.m. shows for all Sankranthi films, including Game Changer, Daaku Maharaaj, and Sankranthiki Vastunnam.
