Opinion: Why 'Red Book' Topic At Davos Meeting?

The recent statements made by Andhra Pradesh ministers at the Davos investment summit raise serious questions about the priorities and professionalism of the delegation. 

Minister TG Bharat’s declaration that the TDP will rule for decades and Nara Lokesh will inevitably become the next Chief Minister is not only premature but also out of place at an event aimed at attracting global investors. 

Similarly, Lokesh bringing the topic about the "red book" during his padayatra is irrelevant in a setting designed to showcase the state’s potential.

Investors attending such summits come from diverse backgrounds and are not swayed by internal political posturing. They seek stability, clear policies, and a business-friendly environment—not partisan rhetoric.  Readmore!

Andhra Pradesh's official representatives should have focused on the state’s infrastructure, resources, and opportunities instead of indulging in political propaganda.

On the other hand, meanwhile, Chandrababu Naidu, the CM of AP, says that he would make AP a work-from-home hub.

If that is the case, why bring industries to AP? They can remain in their place anywhere in the world, and the people can work from home in AP.

Or else, if he invites those companies to set up investments in AP, then how would the work-from-home model support them? Everything looks absurd and ludicrous.

This lack of coherence in messaging diminishes AP’s credibility on the global stage, making the whole exercise seem absurd.
