The release couldn’t have been more fitting, as it coincided with the occasion of Women’s Day, and both the title and poster have been met with widespread praise.
What stands out most is the title’s refreshing choice, as it is rare to see such a family-friendly name for a commercial movie.
Typically, titles are selected based on the hero or his character traits. However, Arjun S/O Vyjayanthi breaks this trend, offering something unique.
It’s been revealed that the makers had initially chosen a different title and had even prepared a first look poster for it. The original title focused more on showcasing Kalyan Ram’s heroic persona.
However, it was Kalyan Ram himself who suggested a title change, prompting the director, Pradeep Chilukuri, to look for a name that better aligned with the film’s core narrative.
A key reason for the title shift is the pivotal role played by Vijayashanthi, who portrays Kalyan Ram’s mother in the film.
Given the strength of their characters and the profound bond between them, Arjun S/O Vyjayanthi emerged as the perfect choice. The title beautifully highlights the importance of family dynamics.
Kalyan Ram’s decision to prioritize the film’s content over a title that would merely elevate his character has been extensively praised.
