Sai Reddy to spill beans about YSRCP leaders?

It appears that former Rajya Sabha member V Vijay Sai Reddy, who resigned from the YSR Congress Party a couple of months ago, has decided to expose party leaders involved in various scams during the Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy regime, seemingly to protect himself.

Sai Reddy, who was Accused No. 2 (A-2) in the alleged quid pro quo cases being investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for the past 13 years, was long regarded as the second most powerful leader in the YSRCP.

His deep knowledge of the party’s internal affairs and government operations gave him significant influence.

On Wednesday, he made two sensational disclosures while speaking to the media. Readmore!

The first revelation concerned Raj Kasireddy (Kasireddy Rajasekhar Reddy), the IT advisor during Jagan's tenure. Sai Reddy alleged that Raj was the mastermind behind the liquor scam that took place during the YSRCP government.

"Raj Kasireddy is the architect, executor, and beneficiary of the liquor scam. I will reveal more details about this in the future," Sai Reddy stated, shocking party members.

Reports from CID sources suggest that Raj Kasireddy played a crucial role in securing liquor supply contracts worth thousands of crores.

The primary allegation against him is that liquor supply orders were only awarded to those willing to pay bribes to top government officials at the time. He is also accused of collecting commissions from these suppliers.

Investigations by the CID and the Special Investigation Team (SIT) have already unearthed crucial evidence related to the case.

Now that Vijay Sai Reddy has directly named Raj Kasireddy, further questions have arisen about his ties to Jagan Mohan Reddy and the extent of his influence within the YSRCP government.

Sai Reddy also exposed Vikrant Reddy, son of Y V Subba Reddy, alleging that he played a major role in the forcible acquisition of shares in Kakinada Seaport and Kakinada SEZ from their original promoter Karnati Venkateswara Rao (KV Rao).

Sai Reddy provided on-record testimony before CID authorities, stating that Vikrant Reddy orchestrated the deal between KV Rao, Sarat Chandra Reddy, and Aurobindo Pharma. His statement indirectly acknowledged that Vikrant Reddy was a key figure in the transaction.

The CID officials also questioned Sai Reddy about Vikrant Reddy’s alleged involvement in making thousands of crores through laterite mining in the Visakhapatnam agency areas.

Sai Reddy responded that, during his tenure as in-charge of North Andhra, he had only asked Vikrant Reddy to provide employment to locals in need.

With these explosive disclosures, there is every possibility that Sai Reddy will reveal even more inside details about the YSRCP’s inner workings in the coming days.
