'Sikandar' Shows Cancelled In Major Centers

Salman Khan’s Sikandar has failed to meet audience expectations, with poor word of mouth affecting its box office performance.

Though the film saw slight growth on its second day, its decline is evident as the holiday season ends. Theatres are already reducing its screenings and replacing them with more successful films.

Reports indicate that Sikandar’s shows were canceled due to a lack of audience in cities like Surat, Ahmedabad, and Indore.

In Surat’s The Friday Cinema, morning shows had no ticket sales on Monday. Theatre owners have started replacing Sikandar with regional hits like All The Best Pandya and Umbarro in Gujarat, and L2 Empuraan in Mumbai. Readmore!

However, Mumbai’s Gaiety-Galaxy multiplex remains an exception. Despite its struggles elsewhere, Sikandar played to a packed audience here on Eid, proving Salman Khan’s continued appeal among mass audiences.
