Venu Donepudi Announces Pan-India Film Ramam

On the auspicious occasion of Sri Rama Navami on Sunday, producer Venu Donepudi of Chitralayam Studios announced a pan-India film titled Ramam, with the tagline "Rise of Akira."

The film is set to unfold a powerful narrative inspired by the path of Lord Rama, who waged war to uphold dharma, setting an eternal example of righteousness for the world.

Ramam centers around a heroic figure — a great warrior whose story has yet to grace the silver screen.

Speaking on the occasion, Venu Donepudi said, “The name of Sri Rama is a guiding mantra for humanity.”

He added that Lord Rama not only established dharma but also wielded his divine bow, Kodanda, to annihilate adharma — an act of valor beyond words.

“We drew inspiration from this profound embodiment of virtue. Our film Ramam presents a unique story that brings the ideals of Rama Rajya into the modern era — a tale that’s never been told before. Pre-production is currently underway, and filming will begin soon,” he shared.

The film will feature a rising Tollywood star in the lead role, supported by prominent actors and technicians from across Indian cinema, promising a rich cinematic experience on a national scale.
