The first song from the much-awaited Vishwambhara was released today on the auspicious occasion of Hanuman Jayanthi.
The song is dedicated to Lord Rama. Chiranjeevi looks remarkably young in the video, with his trademark energy intact.
The lyrics begin with “Thayya Thakka…” in pleasing style. Penned by Ramajogayya Sastry, the lyrics are simple but feel routine, lacking the lyrical spark or unique expressions that usually elevate devotional tracks.
The lines are more informative — like “Sivuni dhanuvu vanchinodu - Ravana madamu thenchinodu - dharmamu viluva penchinodu - Dasaratha sutudu” — than poetic, offering factual storytelling rather than poetic brilliance.
The poetic strength seen in songs like his own 'Sadashiva Sanyasi' or 'Lahe Lahe' is notably missing here.
Visually, the song is bright and impressive. Keeravani’s music is pleasant to the ears but doesn’t offer anything groundbreaking.
This first single stands out mainly because of the divine Lord Rama factor and Chiranjeevi’s surprisingly youthful appearance, but not much else.
The song is sung by Shankar Mahadevan and Lipsika. The film is directed by Vassishta and produced by Vamshi Krishna Reddy and Pramod Uppalapati.
