The Allu Arjun–Atlee film has been officially announced, and buzz is already building around its massive â¹800 crore sci-fi concept. Now, the focus has shifted to the leading lady.
Given the film’s pan-India scale, the makers were reportedly keen on casting a top-tier actress — enter Priyanka Chopra. However, gossip suggests that she has turned down the offer.
Priyanka is already committed to SS Rajamouli’s film with Mahesh Babu, where her agreement reportedly includes being available for shoots whenever called.
In addition, she has apparently said yes to Krrish 4 at the request of her close friend Hrithik Roshan — sources say the two even had a meeting recently.
Beyond that, Priyanka also has two Hollywood series in hand, making it difficult for her to allot dates for the Allu Arjun–Atlee project.
There’s currently a shortage of suitable pan-India heroines for big-ticket films.
Rashmika Mandanna is already paired with Allu Arjun in Pushpa 1 and Pushpa 2. Kiara Advani is expecting her first child.
Katrina Kaif has slowed down on new projects. Deepika Padukone is yet to resume work. Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt and Janhvi Kapoor are busy with back-to-back films.
