Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, the YSRCP chief, should realize one thing: when he formed the government in 2019, he placed his trust not in seasoned politicians, but in non-political figures.
He handed over key party responsibilities to individuals like Dhanunjay Reddy, Donthireddy Vasudeva Reddy, Raj Kasireddy, Vijay Sai Reddy, Sajjala Bhargav, iPAC, and others.
These people enjoyed power throughout the five-year term. But once the party lost the elections, many of them vanished.
Some flew abroad to lay low, and others simply left the party. These non-politicians had no real connection with the public and no long-term political career to worry about.
Their goal was simple- enjoy the power while it lasts, and make fortune — directly or indirectly.
In contrast, politicians like Mithun Reddy are still standing their ground, fighting legal battles and staying connected with the people. Why?
Because they have to build a lasting political career. They’re in it for the long run and remain committed to the party and their constituencies.
This should be a clear lesson for Jagan Mohan Reddy- trusting and empowering real politicians strengthens the party.
It builds a lasting foundation and keeps the party’s presence strong—far more than relying on non-political individuals ever could.
