Music Director Fails Yet Again with Songs

The same criticism, once again. For the second time in a row, music director Ajaneesh Loknath is facing flak — not for his background score, which continues to impress, but for failing to deliver memorable songs.

Just recently, Odela 2 was released. Despite its flawed screenplay and dialogues, Ajaneesh’s background score worked like magic, covering up many shortcomings. However, the songs fell flat.

For a film like Odela 2, strong songs could have added more weight, but that element was clearly missing.

Given that Arjun S/O Vyjayanthi is a full-fledged commercial entertainer, hit songs are crucial to its appeal. Unfortunately, not a single track has managed to make an impact.

What made the makers trust Ajaneesh for this project remains a question only they can answer.

But to grow as a complete music director, it's essential to deliver engaging songs as well. He needs to overcome this shortcoming — and fast.
