Sarangapani Jathakam featuring Priyadarshi and Vennela Kishore in the lead roles is preparing for the release on April 25.
As a part of the promotional campaign, the director of the film MohanaKrishna Indraganti gave a few intriguing tidbits.
Speaking about the film, the talented veteran director stated that the Telugu audience had at least six comedy oriented films per year back in the day but the options have been going down of late.
He stated that Sarangapani Jathakam is going to be one such comical relief film.
“Producer Sivalenka Krishna Prasad Garu wanted to do a film with me after Sammohanam. This is when I pitched this story and he loved it. I liked Darshi in Balagam and we approached him. That’s how the project happened.”
The better and Director further added that this film is going to provide clean and healthy comedy that can be enjoyed by the family audience.
“This isn’t your stereotypical comedy film. It will stay with you for 4 to 5 days after watching it.”
He says Darshi will be seen as a man who firmly believes in astronomy and palmistry. He says the treatment and presentation are going to be fresh and interesting.
This film has Priyadarshi and Roopa Koduvayur in the lead roles. It is produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad under Sridevi Movies banner. It is releasing on April 25.
