Jr NTR’s body double, Eshwar Harris, has reportedly declined an offer to work on Ayan Mukerji’s War 2 due to surprisingly low pay.
Eshwar revealed he was approached to double for the Telugu star in a few scenes of the upcoming action film, but the offered compensation was so minimal it wouldn’t even cover his travel expenses.
He also took a dig at the Hindi film industry, noting that he earns more in Telugu cinema and that Bollywood’s big budgets should reflect in fairer remuneration.
Yash Raj Films’ War 2 is directed by Ayan Mukerji, while the first instalment was helmed by Siddharth Anand. It is part of the YRF Spy Universe, following Ek Tha Tiger, War and Pathaan.
