Betrayal Day: YCP Got Shocked At The Public Response

'Betrayal Day', organized across Andhra Pradesh by the YSRCP on the call of Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, was a resounding success.

In every constituency, large crowds participated, voicing strong protest. Interestingly, more leaders and activists attended this event than any other recent YSRCP program.

YSRCP leaders themselves expressed joyous shock and surprise looking at the crowds, comparing the public response to the excitement during election campaign.

From Tirupati and Nagari to Kadapa, Nellore, Palnadu, and Uttarandhra, party members showed enthusiastic and united participation across the state. Readmore!

Actually, seeing the public's reaction today, even the YSRCP was more shocked than the TDP.

The intensity of the turnout sparked internal reflection. Is there really so much opposition among the people against the government? That question echoed throughout party circles.

Despite government pressure and new rules requiring prior permission for rallies and dharnas, the YSRCP did not back down.

Party ranks poured into the streets with huge excitement and public response if phenomenal indicating the high level of anti incumbency.

A year after losing power, YSRCP leaders slammed the ruling party for broken promises and continued oppressive rule. Betrayal Day has sparked new energy and momentum within YSRCP ranks.

But the point is, Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy did not physically participate in this event. Had he done so, the impact would have been even more phenomenal, say many.
