What Triggered Naidu's Anger Towards TANA?

It is known that Chandrababu Naidu instructed all his MLAs and ministers who received invitations to the TANA event not to attend.

There are multiple reasons behind this decision, but the first trigger is particularly interesting.

Apparently, TANA officials had been trying to get an appointment with Chandrababu Naidu for a long time but were unsuccessful.

In the meantime, they went ahead and invited several MLAs, MPs, and ministers. Eventually, they did manage to get an appointment and met with Naidu. Readmore!

During the meeting, one of the TANA representatives reportedly said: “Sir, 42 MLAs and 6 MPs are attending the TANA event. It would be great if you could also join.”

This statement reportedly upset Chandrababu Naidu. He immediately responded: “Give me the complete list of those you’ve invited and who are attending.”

By that time, business class tickets for the MLAs and MPs had already been booked.

Without expressing anything directly to the TANA officials, Naidu instructed all those invitees to cancel their travel plans to the USA.

Insiders believe that TANA officials made a mistake by revealing that dozens of elected representatives were already committed to the event, without first consulting or formally inviting the party head and former Chief Minister.

In political protocol, inviting subordinates without the knowledge or presence of the leader can be seen as disrespectful.

Since they did'nt get the appointment of Chandrababu Naidu in time, at least they might have kept quiet about the other invitees.

Additionally, internal politics and reported disturbances within TANA may have contributed to Naidu’s decision to distance his party from the organization altogether.
