This is the question many fans of the Telugu film industry are asking.
Pawan Kalyan, one of the most influential political figures and arguably one of the biggest crowd-pullers among Telugu stars, shouldn’t need any artificial boost when it comes to promoting his films.
Yet, the team behind “Hari Hara Veera Mallu” seems to have opted for a digital marketing gimmick to inflate trailer views.
It’s quite evident that the producers spent heavily on paid advertising to push the trailer across platforms, resulting in a surge of non-organic views.
While this practice of artificially boosting views has become common in the Telugu film industry, especially during teaser and trailer releases, it feels unnecessary in Pawan Kalyan’s case, given his massive fan base.
Despite his enduring popularity, the producers went ahead with the tactic just to claim record-breaking numbers. But does this strategy genuinely help the film in the long run? Only time will tell.
Ironically, by resorting to digital manipulation, the team has unintentionally weakened Pawan Kalyan’s aura.
It sends a message that even a star of his stature is no exception to the industry’s obsession with manufactured hype — that he too needs paid viewership to match or surpass others.
“Hari Hara Veera Mallu” is set for release on July 24.
