A special screening of Kannappa was organized two days ago for Shiva devotees and swamijis across the Telugu states.
The event was arranged by Ghazal Srinivas, and veteran actor Mohan Babu attended the show.
Overwhelmed by watching the film again alongside aghoris and other Shiva bhaktas, Mohan Babu appeared deeply moved, humble, and emotional.
Following the screening, he addressed the press.
One reporter asked why the film was still being targeted by trolls and memes online despite receiving positive feedback.
Responding to this, Mohan Babu said: "A swamiji here gave me a beautiful perspective. He told me not to worry about the trolling. He said the trolls are actually helping to wash away the sins I have accumulated; both in this life and in past lives, knowingly or unknowingly. He even advised me to thank my trollers."
Mohan Babu added that this insight gave him a sense of peace and acceptance, and he expressed gratitude towards those trolling him, seeing them as part of a divine cleansing process.
