Kavitha isolated from family completely?

Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLC and Telangana Jagruthi founder-president Kalvakuntla Kavitha appears increasingly isolated within her party, following recent controversies and a noticeable lack of support from the leadership and even her own family.

Despite widespread media attention over the verbal attack on Kavitha by controversial BC leader and fellow MLC Teenmaar Mallanna — and the subsequent physical retaliation by her followers — the top BRS leadership has not issued a single statement.

Neither her father and party chief K Chandrashekar Rao nor her brother and BRS working president K T Rama Rao have spoken out condemning Mallanna’s remarks. Even senior leader T Harish Rao has remained silent.

Observers say the silence is telling, especially considering KTR’s usual responsiveness on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), where he has refrained from commenting on the issue. Readmore!

This has raised key questions: Is the party deliberately distancing itself from Kavitha to safeguard its image after her recent political missteps? Or has the leadership made a conscious decision to sideline her?

Despite her firm assertion that “this is my party,” the absence of public support from core party leaders has fuelled speculation that she and her faction may no longer be part of the party's inner circle.

As the controversy escalates, the continued silence from the BRS leadership is drawing increasing scrutiny from both supporters and critics.
