The romantic drama Saiyaara is showing strong signs of turning into a major box office hit.
Despite a slower start on Saturday morning compared to Friday, the film picked up pace in the afternoon and evening, particularly in large multiplexes.
Early estimates suggest a solid 15–20% growth in collections on day two, with some theatres even increasing show counts to meet demand.
Saturday’s earnings are expected to touch Rs 24 crore nett, an impressive figure. While Mumbai’s numbers were slightly restrained on day one, it’s now showing strong upward momentum.
In contrast, regions like UP, Bihar, Haryana, and Rajasthan already posted exceptional day-one numbers and are seeing steadier trends with minimal growth.
Saiyaara is performing exceptionally in the Delhi/UP circuit, even surpassing big films like Chhaava, Sikandar, and Housefull 3.
Interestingly, its current trend mirrors that of Kabir Singh, a previous romantic blockbuster.
While Kabir Singh faced limitations due to its A-certificate, Saiyaara enjoys broader appeal, especially among families.
If momentum holds, Saiyaara could exceed expectations and cement its place as a certified blockbuster.
