Advance booking trends suggest War 2 could open to around â¹100 crore worldwide on its first day, while its rival, Rajinikanth’s Coolie, is projected to collect about â¹140 crore on debut.
Though War 2 may fall short of surpassing Coolie on Day 1, industry buzz indicates it could close the gap and possibly take the lead in the days following its release.
Hitting theatres worldwide on August 14, War 2 is directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Aditya Chopra.
