Prabhas's 'The Raja Saab' Faces Legal Trouble

The horror-comedy, directed by Maruthi, has faced repeated delays and is yet to be completed. The film is also getting postponed once again, from December 5, 2025 to January 9, 2026.

Now, Delhi-based Ivy Entertainment has filed a petition in the Delhi High Court against the production company, People Media Factory, alleging serious breaches of contractual obligations and seeking a permanent injunction.

As per media reports, Ivy Entertainment invested ₹218 crore for the film’s theatrical rights.

The company is now demanding a full refund along with 18% annual interest, claiming that producer TG Vishwa Prasad not only violated the agreement but is also refusing to return the funds. Readmore!

The petition also names PMF directors Vishwa Prasad Tumbalam Gooty and Subramanya Vivekananda Kuchibhotla, as well as post-production vendors Deccan Dreams Animations LLP, Prasad Xtreme Digital Cinema Network, Qube Cinema Technologies, and UFO Moviez.

Ivy is seeking a court order to prevent them from working on or handling the film without its approval.

With this legal battle looming, “The Raja Saab” faces yet another hurdle on its way to the planned January 2026 release.
