Amidst the controversy surrounding a viral audio clip allegedly abusing actor Jr NTR, the legislator at the centre of the storm has strongly denied any connection with it.
In a statement, he clarified that the voice circulating on social media does not belong to him.
“I have immense respect for both the Nara and Nandamuri families. The audio that is going viral, claiming I insulted Jr NTR, is not mine,” he said.
He further alleged that political rivals were behind the controversy.
“Those who dislike me are creating fake audios and videos and spreading them with malicious intent,” he remarked, stressing that he had no reason to attack Jr NTR or his family.
The MLA’s denial comes at a time when tensions between sections of the Telugu Desam Party and Jr NTR have become a subject of public debate, especially following the release of War 2.
While the viral audio triggered sharp criticism online, his rebuttal aims to put an end to the speculation linking him to the abusive remarks.
