First, with his seniority in the industry and his position, he should inculcate problem-solving abilities. When films clash for theatres, he should step in to resolve amicably.
When big-budget films lose money, he should come forward to mediate, ensuring justice and helping distributers recoup losses. Dasari Narayana Rao used to play this role in his time; now there is no one.
Most people today shy away, thinking, “Why involve in issues that don’t fetch money?”
But Chiranjeevi has gone beyond the stage of needing money. He needs to spend his time resolving issues, spreading love, care and peace in the industry. Then he will be regarded as a true God, not just a demigod for fans but for the entire film fraternity.
Chiranjeevi should either develop conflict-solving skills himself or appoint trusted ambassadors to mediate on his behalf. Conflict resolution is delicate, one must ensure respect from both sides, not lose it from either.
Finally, he should also speak to his brother, the Deputy CM of Andhra Pradesh, Pawan Kalyan, about issuing a GO on ticket price hikes.
Every producer standing before the government pleading for higher ticket rates looks more like a power display than a solution. If Chiranjeevi convinces Pawan and gets this done, then he will truly be the Super Mega Star of the industry, the industry will hail him forever.
