No uncle, only garu: Ram Charan greets Pawan!

These days, greeting even the closest relatives on birthdays and other occasions that needed celebrations has become a routine affair.

People are taking to social media to extend birthday wishes even to brothers, sisters, cousins, uncles and aunts.

This has become all the more common for celebrities, who are taking to X to post birthday greetings for their brothers, sisters and uncles. Such greetings have become fashion statements, at least for the sake of publicity.

Take the tweet of popular Tollywood hero Ram Charan to greet his own uncle (uncle) Pawan Kalyan, who is now the deputy chief minister of Andhra Pradesh. Readmore!

Instead of calling him affectionately as “babai,” Ram Charan chose to address him as “Pawan Kalyan garu.

Here is the tweet: “Happy Birthday @PawanKalyan Garu. I feel truly fortunate to have grown up witnessing your simplicity, strength and selfless nature. Your journey continues to inspire not just me, but millions. Wishing you good health, endless happiness and many more years of greatness.”

Interestingly, Pawan Kalyan’s elder brother and megastar Chiranjeevi, who is credited for the tremendous growth of the power star in his career and life, also chose to greet his brother on social media.

“Birthday wishes to Kalyan Babu, who has made a mark as a top actor in the film industry, as the leader of Jana Sena in public life, and as the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, serving the people tirelessly.

Your dedication to public service is truly memorable.

With the blessings and love of the people, I wish you a long life filled with health and strength, and may you continue to be a guiding force for the people for many more years. Deerghayushman Bhava! @PawanKalyan.”

Well, Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan might have called Pawan Kalyan personally and extended greetings over phone.

But the way they expressed their feelings in public on social media shows the way even birthday greetings have become so routine and mechanical!
