YSRCP state coordinator Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy on Thursday dismissed the allegations against his son, Sajjala Bhargav, in the alleged liquor scam, calling them “completely baseless and a total fabrication of lies” by the TDP-led coalition government and its allied media.
He clarified that the Bhim Company, mentioned in media reports, has neither operations nor even a bank account.
“When there is no financial activity, how can money be routed through it? This only exposes the political agenda behind SIT’s so-called investigation,” Sajjala said.
Accusing the SIT of acting as a “tool of Yellow Media”, he alleged that it was more focused on supplying selective leaks to create stories than on conducting genuine inquiries.
Sajjala further questioned why the media ignored the links between Bhim director Pradyumna and Nara Lokesh, pointing out that Pradyumna had earlier worked as Director of Studio N, a channel promoted by Lokesh and Narne Srinivas Rao.
“If such personal links are enough to drag people into cases, should Lokesh also be named?” he asked.
Drawing a sharp contrast, Sajjala reminded that the Chandrababu Naidu regime oversaw real scams such as FiberNet and Skill Development, where “official files bore Naidu’s signatures, records were tampered with, and money trails were proven.”
“Those were real scams. Today’s liquor scam is nothing but a story written by Chandrababu, leaked by SIT, and published by his friendly media,” he asserted.
He warned that the coalition government had degenerated into a “Red Book Rajyam”, a regime of commissions, mafias, and extortion.
“The people are watching, and very soon Chandrababu and Lokesh will face the full-color verdict of Andhra Pradesh,” he said.
