Janhvi Kapoor commands a hefty paycheck, which many feel is disproportionate to her success rate so far.
While actresses like Rashmika Mandanna reached the â¹5 crore remuneration mark after starring in multiple pan-Indian blockbusters such as Pushpa, Animal, and Chhava, Janhvi achieved the same milestone with Devara, despite fewer major hits.
However, according to her father Boney Kapoor, Janhvi does not burden producers beyond her agreed fee. On the contrary, she makes conscious efforts to reduce additional costs during film shoots.
Boney Kapoor revealed that Janhvi often covers her own travel expenses and avoids charging producers for the travel of her staff or family members accompanying her.
“If Janhvi is traveling for a shoot, she buys her own tickets. If her team or relatives travel with her, she doesn’t pass those costs onto the producers,” he said.
Boney Kapoor added that Janhvi learned this sense of responsibility from both him and her late mother.
Being a producer himself, he often shared the financial challenges filmmakers face, which helped Janhvi develop a pragmatic and professional approach to her work.
