The Telangana government has denied permission for midnight shows of OG but cleared 9 PM premiere shows on September 24.
This means audiences in Telangana will be the first in India, along with North American viewers, to watch the film.
In contrast, the Andhra Pradesh government has permitted special shows only from 1 AM on September 25, while also allowing ticket prices for the premiere to be hiked up to â¹1000.
This time gap has left Pawan Kalyan’s fans in Andhra Pradesh disappointed.
They are now demanding that premiere shows also begin at 9 PM in their state, matching Telangana’s schedule.
The OG team is reportedly considering the request, and it remains to be seen whether producer DVV Danayya and the distributors will revise their plans.
