The much-awaited trailer of Power Star Pawan Kalyan and Sujeeth’s film OG was supposed to drop this morning, but it has now been postponed to the evening.
The makers have decided to unveil it during the pre-release event later today.
Interestingly, sources say director Sujeeth wasn’t too keen on releasing the trailer at all. His reasoning? The film already has massive hype, and trailers are usually meant to build buzz.
With OG already creating unprecedented excitement, he reportedly felt there was no real need to push it further.
However, certain formalities made it unavoidable, and the team went ahead with the trailer launch plan.
On the other side, the film’s main content also needs to be finalized and sent to the US today, as the cutoff date is September 22.
Music director Thaman is said to be completely occupied with this crucial task while also planning tonight’s live concert, and he still has to oversee the trailer’s re-recording and mixing.
That’s why the trailer, originally scheduled for a morning release, has been delayed until evening. Sources add that Pawan Kalyan himself suggested a couple of last-minute corrections, which also contributed to the delay.
The trailer has been cut in a full-blown action mode, with plans to include two powerful dialogues. But for that, final approval from the hero was required.
