Fresh speculation has emerged around Kaithi 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the 2019 Tamil blockbuster Kaithi.
According to social media buzz, the project has allegedly been shelved due to creative differences between director Lokesh Kanagaraj and lead actor Karthi.
Kaithi played a pivotal role in establishing the Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU), which already includes films like Master and Vikram.
After the release of Coolie, Lokesh Kanagaraj reportedly planned a mega project featuring Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan together.
However, Rajinikanth recently clarified that while he is indeed collaborating with Kamal Haasan, the director has not yet been finalized, leaving Lokesh’s vision uncertain.
It was then that Lokesh Kanagaraj is said to have revived the long-pending Kaithi 2. But news of alleged differences between Karthi and Lokesh has now taken social media by storm.
