Since Balakrishna had misinterpreted the meeting of film industry bigwigs with the then Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy and pointed out that Chiranjeevi was insulted at that time, Chiranjeevi has now given clarity.
He said that he was not insulted by Jagan Mohan Reddy at that time. Point by point, he explained that he led the team because the then Cinematography Minister, Perni Nani, suggested that a one-on-one discussion with the Chief Minister would be more effective.
He also mentioned that he had tried to take Balakrishna along to that meeting, but it didn’t work out.
Now the curtains are down on this matter. It is now clear that Jagan Mohan Reddy did not insult Chiranjeevi, as Chiranjeevi himself has confirmed.
All is fine. But the question arises; why didn’t Chiranjeevi say the same thing before the elections, when his own brother, Pawan Kalyan, had alleged that Jagan Mohan Reddy insulted him?
If Chiranjeevi had clarified at that time, the wrong message wouldn’t have spread among the Kapus. Why was Chiranjeevi silent then, and why did he open his mouth to give clarity only now? Is that not opportunism, or a strategy in the interest of his own brother?
If Chiranjeevi truly stands by dharma, he should have clarified when Pawan Kalyan first made the allegation.
Another important point must be underlined here. Who released the photo or video showing Chiranjeevi with folded hands in front of the Chief Minister?
It was a representative of the CMO office at that time. Any photo or video should be released with a valid reason, and one has to take the Chief Minister’s permission before releasing it. But without any such permission, that person released the picture to send the wrong signals to the public.
The irony is that the same person is still beside Jagan Mohan Reddy, and Jagan Mohan Reddy does not seem to realize the misdeeds and crookedness of the person behind him.
This is to understand the blindness of Jagan Mohan Reddy in trusting people, and the calculated clarifications and timing of Chiranjeevi.
