Why is Pawan falling sick so frequently?

Jana Sena Party president and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has once again fallen ill, this time with a severe cough and fever. This is reportedly the fourth time in the last six months that he has taken ill.

According to party sources, there is growing concern over the recurring nature of his health problems.

Since the election campaign last year, Pawan has frequently suffered bouts of illness, a trend that has continued even after assuming office as deputy chief minister.

Though only 54, Pawan is said to require three to four days of rest almost every month or two due to high fever, which has been his most persistent complaint. Readmore!

In contrast, Telugu Desam Party president and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, now 76, continues to actively participate in government and party programmes without any reported health issues for years.

Observers note that film stars generally pay greater attention to fitness than most politicians. However, Pawan’s attempt to juggle both cinema and politics simultaneously has left little room for proper care of his health.

His latest illness has already forced him to skip key Assembly sessions, as well as promotional events for his upcoming film OG.

Analysts say his recurring health troubles are proving costly — both politically and professionally.
