Complaint against Rajini in Jagan's Digital Book

Four days ago, YSR Congress party president Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy launched a Digital Book, as a counter to Telugu Desam Party leader Nara Lokesh’s Red Book, to register complaints on harassment of YSRCP leaders and cadres by the TDP-led coalition government.

The party has not till date disclosed how many complaints were registered on this Digital Book, but an interesting news has come from the party camp.

A complaint was lodged against YSRCP leader and former minister Vidadala Rajini in the Digital Book app.

The complaint was filed by Navataram Party’s national president Rao Subrahmanyam. Readmore!

He alleged that in 2022, Vidadala Rajini had orchestrated an attack on his party office, residence, and car in Chilakaluripet of Palnadu district.

Seeking justice, Subrahmanyam urged Jagan Mohan Reddy to take suitable action through the Digital Book grievance system.

Subrahmanyam displayed the receipt of his complaint to the media, asserting that if Jagan ensures justice in his case, it would instil confidence among YSRCP cadres that the party chief will protect them as promised.

He even uploaded photographs of the alleged attack alongside his complaint in the app.

Ironically, the Digital Book app was launched in Chilakaluripet by none other than Vidadala Rajini herself, in the presence of local YSRCP leaders and workers.

Within hours of its inauguration, a complaint was filed against her — an episode that has now gone viral on social media. Rajini has not yet responded to the allegations.

The incident has sparked speculation over how many more complaints may surface against YSRCP’s own leaders through this platform.

Jagan, while unveiling the app, had assured that it would act as a protective shield for party workers.

He promised that grievances recorded in the Digital Book would be redressed once the party returns to power, and those responsible for injustices would face legal consequences.

It remains to be seen whether and how Jagan will respond to a complaint targeting one of his own party’s senior leaders, especially after publicly declaring that the Digital Book would demonstrate YSRCP’s strength in contrast to TDP’s so-called “Red Book.”
