Pawan Kalyan Fans Stir Unnecessary Controversy

Recently in Bengaluru, during the release of the film 'OG', fans of Pawan Kalyan created a chaotic situation.

They gathered in large numbers outside theaters, shouting slogans like “Bengaluru gadda- Pawan Kalyan adda,” performing bike stunts and playing loud DJ music.

This unruly behavior disturbed the public, especially women passing by and angered the local Kannada people.

When locals requested them to stop, the fans refused to listen, which led to further clashes. In their frustration, some Kannada youth tore down Pawan Kalyan’s banners and forced the DJ to stop. Readmore!

This clearly reflects arrogance from a section of Pawan Kalyan’s fans.

At the same time, as retaliation, Pawan fans are also spreading negativity around Kantara, a film that celebrates Hindu culture, mythology and folklore.

Instead of respecting its artistic value, they are provoking Andhra audiences to boycott or criticize it, which hurts Hindu sentiments.

Such actions may also create unnecessary tensions between Telugu and Kannada communities in Bengaluru, putting Telugu people living there at risk.

Adding to this, they oppose ticket price hikes for Kantara as it is a dubbed Kannada film, but remained silent when prices were increased for War 2, a dubbed Hindi film.

This shows double standards and narrow-mindedness of Pawan fans.
