The much-awaited trailer of Prabhas-starrer Raja Saab has finally dropped, and it’s already creating a buzz.
Directed by Maruthi, known for his signature comedy touch, and backed by a stellar cast, expectations from this film are sky-high.
The trailer promises a colorful blend of horror, humor and action. With Thaman’s energetic background score and vibrant visuals, the mood feels engaging throughout.
However, the entertainment quotient clearly outweighs the horror, as humor takes center stage over the thrills.
Action sequences are sprinkled in, but laughs dominate, making it more of a horror-comedy entertainer than a typical spine-chiller.
Prabhas appears refreshing and energetic, exuding charm in a lighter role. Yet, unlike conventional horror dramas with emotional hooks, Raja Saab leans more on fun and spectacle than raw intensity.
Its something similar to genre like Maruthi’s earlier horror works like Prema Katha Chitram may find the tone different.
Producer TG Vishwaprasad and the entire team are confident in Maruthi’s vision.
The Raja Saab, written and directed by Maruthi, was initially slated to release worldwide on December 5, 2025. The date has now been officially moved to January 9, 2026.
