Rishab Shetty’s Kantara: Chapter 1 is unstoppable at the Indian box office. On Day 14, the film saw a slight dip but still managed to stay strong, collecting over â¹10 crore.
With this, it has surpassed â¹475 crore in net collections and is now all set to enter the â¹500 crore club over the third weekend.
The film has shown impressive hold during its second week; earning â¹13.35 crore on Monday (Day 12), â¹14.15 crore on Tuesday (Day 13), and â¹10.55 crore on Wednesday (Day 14). This brings its total net earnings to â¹476.45 crore, with a domestic gross of â¹562.21 crore.
After KGF Chapter 2, this is only the second Kannada film to achieve this milestone.
To make it into the Top 10 Indian Grossers of All Time, Kantara: Chapter 1 needs to surpass Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan, which earned â¹543.22 crore net. With just â¹66.78 crore to go, the target seems well within reach.
If the current momentum continues, Kantara: Chapter 1 could rewrite box office history and solidify Rishab Shetty’s place among India’s top filmmakers.
