At present, Kadapa MP Y S Avinash Reddy has been overseeing Pulivendula constituency affairs of the party.

Now, Jagan is planning to rope in young leader Dushyant Reddy — known for his close association with the former chief minister — as the in-charge of Pulivendula’s organisational responsibilities.

Dushyant Reddy had actively worked for the YSRCP during the 2024 elections in Jammalamadugu, and he is reportedly being considered for Pulivendula Municipal Chairman in the upcoming local body elections.

The move comes amid speculation that B Tech Ravi’s brother from the TDP might contest from the area, prompting the YSRCP leadership to consolidate its base.

Meanwhile, another senior leader Satish Reddy is also expected to be entrusted with a key position at the state level as part of the revamp.

Jagan is said to be planning a broader shake-up to reward active voices and performers within the party.

As part of the rearrangements, Avinash Reddy is likely to be given responsibilities in Jammalamadugu and Mydukur, where Jagan intends to strengthen the organisation, particularly with MLA Adinarayana Reddy’s growing influence in Jammalamadugu.

The YSRCP is expected to hold final consultations with senior leaders next month before formally announcing the organisational restructuring, which party insiders describe as a “course correction” to revive YSRCP’s morale and prepare for upcoming local body elections.
