Determined to keep a close watch and tighten his grip, the MLA reportedly handpicked a group of loyal young men, offering them a daily wage of Rs. 1,000 along with fuel and other allowances.
So, what exactly is the job of these young men?
They have to keep an eye on who is transporting gravel, who is transporting sand, and where the belt shops are located. They must watch everything happening in their area carefully. Each youngster is responsible for his own area.
If any illegal activities happen there, he has to find out and collect the fixed amount of money decided in advance.
In short, this youth squad’s job is to make sure not a single rupee of the MLA’s collections is missed or lost.
