DSP doing settlements using Pawan Kalyan name!

Jana Sena Party president and Andhra Pradesh deputy chief minister Pawan Kalyan on Tuesday directed a probe into the conduct of Bhimavaram DSP Jayasurya, following multiple complaints about his alleged involvement in illegal activities and misuse of authority.

According to reports, the deputy CM has been receiving frequent complaints alleging that gambling dens have been flourishing in Bhimavaram under the DSP’s watch.

Jayasurya has also been accused of interfering in civil disputes and allegedly using the names of alliance leaders to favour certain individuals.

Taking serious note of these complaints, Pawan Kalyan held a telephonic discussion with West Godavari District SP and issued key directives. Readmore!

He instructed the SP to submit a detailed report on the DSP’s style of functioning and the nature of complaints received against him.

Pawan Kalyan reportedly told the SP that any police officer extending support to unlawful activities must be dealt with seriously.

He also directed the police not to meddle in civil disputes and to ensure impartiality in dealing with the public.

The deputy CM emphasised that the coalition government would not tolerate such misconduct, and that officers must convey this message clearly to their subordinates.

He further urged the police to maintain law and order with neutrality and fairness across West Godavari district.
