Telusu Kada, starring Siddhu Jonnalagadda, Raashii Khanna, and Srinidhi Shetty, is turning out to be a major disappointment at the box office.
Despite releasing during the festive Diwali weekend, the film has failed to draw crowds to theatres.
In its first four days, it has earned less than â¹7 crore in India, signalling a poor run and setting Siddhu up for yet another flop.
The romantic drama opened to mixed reviews from critics. While performances by the lead cast and the basic premise received some praise, the second half’s weak screenplay and uneven pacing drew criticism.
Audience response has also been lukewarm, with no strong word-of-mouth to give the film a boost.
During its opening weekend, Telusu Kada managed only â¹5.6 crore. On day four, it added just â¹1.05 crore, bringing its total to â¹6.65 crore net and â¹7.84 crore gross domestically, according to Sacnilk.
Reportedly made on a â¹45 crore budget, the film has recovered only about 14.77% of its costs so far, making a box office turnaround highly unlikely.
This marks Siddhu Jonnalagadda’s second consecutive setback after Jack (2025).
The actor, who last delivered a hit with Tillu Square (2024), is now banking on his upcoming Tillu Cube to bounce back.
