These days, most Telugu films are made on a huge scale. Every film wants a new concept, big production value, and heavy VFX.
To recover the massive budget, a pan-India release has become a must. But because of this, there’s no clarity on when these films will actually hit the theatres.
Producers announce release dates in advance, but most of the time, the films don’t arrive as planned. Many are stuck in production for years.
Paradise (Nani) - A release date was announced, but the work schedule is huge. It’s unlikely to arrive on the planned date.
Peddi (Ram Charan) - Started late but is progressing fast. Key episodes and technical work are still pending. Makers are trying hard to meet the release date, but it will be a tight race.
Sambarala Yetigattu - This film started long ago but faced several delays. Over 50 days of shooting are still left.
Swayambhu (Nikhil) - Has been delayed for a long time because of non-theatrical marketing issues. Until that’s sorted, the release won’t happen.
Raja Saab (Prabhas) - Except for one fight sequence, everything is completed. Post-production and VFX work will continue through November and December. Since it’s a VFX-heavy film, timelines are tight but manageable.
Bunny (Allu Arjun) and NTR’s film - These are just starting and may not arrive before 2027.
Mahesh Babu - Rajamouli film - The team is working silently. The VFX is planned at a world-class level, so no official release date is in sight.
Whether it’s a big hero or a small one, most Telugu films now depend heavily on VFX and pan-India strategy.
That’s why no one can clearly say when these movies will actually release - we’ll only know once they are ready.
