DSP to Play Lead and Compose Music for Yellamma

Music maestro Devi Sri Prasad (DSP) is all set to make his acting debut, fulfilling a long-cherished dream, with producer Dil Raju backing the project.

DSP will play the lead in director Venu Yeldandi’s passion project "Yellamma."

The film was initially planned with actor Nani, but the final decision is to have DSP as the main hero. He has already started preparing for the role.

Venu Yeldandi, who extracted excellent tunes from Bheems for his debut film Balagam, reportedly welcomed DSP’s involvement in the soundtrack.

While DSP usually charges over Rs 10 crore for his music, sources say he will be taking a modest fee for composing for "Yellamma," making it a special collaboration.
